Finance Officer For Ullet Road Church, Wirral Unitarians & Southport Unitarians

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused Finance Officer to support the financial life of our congregations in Ullet Road Church, Wirral Unitarians, and Southport Unitarians. From income and payments to working with our Treasurer and accountants, this is a steady, trusted role at the heart of a thoughtful and active community.

You’ll bring

• Experience in financial administration
• Confidence with spreadsheets and online banking
• Accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
• Integrity and discretion
• AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)

What you’ll do (in brief)

• Handle income, banking, and financial records
• Process invoices and payments
• Support payroll and compliance (Gift Aid, VAT)
• Help keep finances clear, organised, and running smoothly
